The 12:21 excursion project provides the guests of AZIMUT Hotel Nizhny Novgorod with a unique opportunity to immerse themselves in the history of the city. Daily free guided tours start at 12:21 p.m., symbolizing the date of the founding of Nizhny Novgorod in 1221 by Prince Yuri Vsevolodovich.
During the walking tour, guests will explore key attractions, including ancient temples and buildings that have preserved the flavor of past eras. The tours take place in an unusual form. They are conducted by real city policemen, dressed in uniforms from the time of tsarist Russia.
There are 4 fascinating routes available for guests.
- Fedorovsky Embankment. Meeting place: monument to Jules Verne in a hot air balloon, Zalomova Street. 100 meters to the left of the entrance to AZIMUT Hotel Nizhny Novgorod.
- Bolshaya Pokrovskaya Street. Meeting place: monument to the policeman, Minin and Pozharsky Square.
- Rozhdestvenskaya Street. Meeting place: monument to Minin and Pozharsky, National Unity Square.
- Verkhne-Volzhskaya embankment. Meeting place: monument to Chkalov, Minin and Pozharsky Square.
